Develop and support clearing and middle office applications for a major brokerage firm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will develop, test, and support clearing and middle office applications. Ensure compliance and stability of systems through planning, testing, change management and other SDLC procedures. Analyze, plan, and develop new applications as well as supporting existing ones. Provide on-call support during non-core hours. Support miscellaneous requests for data and reports. Experience working in a distributed work environment involving multiple time zones is definitely preferred.

Quickly learning, self starting, inquisitive, creative and thinking out-of-the-box. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3 - 5 years of work experience in a similar field TECHNICAL SKILLS
SOA and Object-Oriented design and programming experiences are required;
RDBMS Database (Oracle) design and development: 5 years experience;
JAVA or C/C++/C#: minimum 3 years continuous experience required;
UNIX (Solaris/Linux) and Windows (XP/Server): minimum 3 years of experience each;
Web Services (XSLT/XSD/WSDL/JWS/AXIS): 3 years continuous experience required;
Working knowledge on Visual Studio and Eclipse like IDE tools is desired;
Knowledge about ETL tools, BPMS and Business Objects are strong plus;
Working experience with Fiserv Frontier are strongly desired. BUSINESS SKILLS
Strong business knowledge in brokerage/banking middle/back office systems;
Strong understanding about equities/options/bonds trading and clearing process;
Strong understanding about cash/treasury services and protocols;
Strong understanding about reconciliation and asset/risk/fraud management. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business requirements, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations;
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES
