Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing document, regulatory, legislative and compliance support to the department and business units in which we partner. The Lead Analyst prepares and reviews documents including consulting on the drafting and/or negotiating of documents. This position acts as a technical expert and provides guidance to other staff members. The Lead Analyst may be involved in negotiating with external clients or suppliers, preparing amendments, and preparing policy/procedure documents for the plan technical services department. This position may be involved in new products and/or changes for in-force business, regulatory and legislative changes, responding to inquiries, provide training to other associates, and will work on large projects. This individual consults with department management; providing oversight of critical functions, establishing necessary policies and procedures, assisting in policy implementation including training and offering on-going guidance to business unit employees for critical functions performed.  The Lead Analyst will collaborate with all areas of Prudential Retirement to meet the needs of our clients, staff and business partners.

  • Bachelor's Degree or related business experience

  • 3 years experience providing document, regulatory, legislative and compliance support in the Retirement Services or Financial Services Industry

  • 3 years experience preparing and reviewing documents including consulting on the drafting and/or negotiating of documents

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • ASPPA or similar designation desirable

  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service

  • Ability to motivate others

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
