The Senior Audit Operations Analyst will assist the Audit Manager-Operations in providing support to the 150 employees in the US Audit Department and its Chief Auditor. Responsibilities of the Audit Operations group include, but are not limited to, the following: * Creating policies, procedures and other communications to support the ever- evolving change in the department's structure and operations * Consolidating data for Audit Committee Reporting and preparing meeting materials * Managing departmental communications * Reviewing and issuing audit reports, ensuring proper approvals have been obtained * Ensuring information in audit databases is current, accurate, and consistent * Monitoring audit team progress against the audit plan * Generating and distributing findings follow up reports * Managing audit team schedules and timekeeping * Tracking employee certifications and training * Monitoring department budgeted expenses vs.actual * Assisting with department recruiting, outsourcing, and on-boarding activities * Providing other support to the audit department, as required * Responding to requests from the Toronto Audit Support Group * Respond to other ad hoc requests as necessary The Audit Operations Senior reports to the Senior Manager and SVP, and falls under the direction of the Chief Auditor. The goal of the Audit Operations group is to ensure the department is in compliance with departmental policies and procedures supporting IIA standards, and internal methodologies and standards. Requirements: * 4 year degree preferably in Accounting * CIA or other audit certification preferred * 5 years of relevant experience in an internal audit role * Self starter who takes initiative to identify areas of improvement * Occasional travel to Toronto Canada may be required |
