OVERVIEW:

Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides a range of securities, cash, commercial card and trade solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations around the world.  Our global platform is unique in the industry for its global reach and flexibility. Combined with a worldwide network of dedicated and experienced professionals, GTS is well suited to serve clients anywhere they do business. 



The GTS Risk Management team consists of a core group of credit and risk professionals who support the business in analyzing and managing risks in order to deliver valuable solutions to clients while maximizing revenues and risk adjusted returns. The team functions out of New York, London, Brazil and Hong Kong and has the support of an analyst team in Mumbai.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

TTS Portfolio Management

-Understand businesses and associated risk of all TTS businesses (Trade Finance, Trade Services, Export Agency Finance, Commercial Cards, Prepaid Cards, and Cash)

-Analyze and evaluate TTS Risk Asset Portfolio- devise and direct risk mitigation solutions and actions to minimize the potential of credit and operating losses

-Proactively assist the business to develop new products/solutions which address all material risks

-Monitor and mitigate significant high risk/ adversely classified exposures

-Create, update and monitor compliance of credit and product programs

-Evaluate and action core components of assets with capital requirements or Loan Loss Reserve implications

-Provide oversight in the evaluation of operational losses



Product and Business Development

-Advise Product and Client Sales Managers on risks and policy issues

-Support Product Managers by providing risk solutions during the development of new Products

-Support Product Management in the development, realignment and expansion of Target Market and Risk Asset Acceptance Criteria in light of constantly changing economic and financial environment

-Provide Risk leadership for the Treasury and Trade Solutions Businesses

-Implement and maintain risk discipline for Products/ Product development, operational controls, and deal review

-Identify and evaluate high risk functions, including operational failures, vendor controls, AML/ KYC, and credit.

-Participate in TTS Global Deal Reviews

-Assist business in preparing and presenting CMAC and EDAC reviews -Provide approvals for Global/ Regional Product Programs and local addendums to the Global -Risk Asset Acceptance Criteria (RAAC)



Strategic Support

-Support global projects headed by the TTS and/or GTS Risk teams

-Facilitate the development of risk culture within the GTS Business

-Participate in the development and delivery of GTS Risk training throughout the GTS, -Relationship Management, GIRM and FIRM organizations

-Under the guidance of the SFS CRO, learn business, products, strategies and risks associated with all SFS products

-Working across the business and risk organizations, ensure the impact(s) of all risk disciplines (credit, market, operational and franchise) are understood and addressed.



Credit Approvals

-Help structure, approve and control credit and clearing facilities TTS clients

-Assist in providing Business SCO oversight for intraday excess approval process and provide direct approvals as necessary







-Graduate degree in Business/ Finance/ Accounting/ Economics preferred

-Senior Credit Officer or Credit Officer

-15 years of banking experience including at least 5 years of risk experience

-Knowledge of corporate, financial institution and middle market segments

-Knowledge of Citigroup's credit/market and operational risk policies

-Completion of Advanced Risk course or equivalent

-In depth knowledge of key ICG Risk policies including Credit, Country and Cross Border

working knowledge of payment system networks, trade finance, commercial cards

-Ability to exercise sound, timely and independent judgment

-Excellent written and oral communication skills with all management levels

-Strong leadership skills

-Excellent knowledge of Banking products, in particular GTS products and services
