Align Technology investments to Business Objectives • Support communication between local Businesses and Technology groups by sharing a vision, facilitating decision making, resolving conflicts, finding consensus and gaining commitment • Cooperate with Country, Cluster and Regional Technology Management to prioritize investment through strategic planning • Management of Technology alignment to Business strategy, plans and objectives. Development, implementation and monitoring of the short- and long- term IT strategy within in country covering processes, technology and business units, vendors internal and external clients and risks. • Distinction between the long lifecycle of Technology landscape from the shorter innovation cycles of the underlying technology • Contribute to the success of initiatives / projects by developing a vision and determining the feasibility before the start of a initiative / project Reduce Cost and Simplify the Environment • Re-engineering of Technology processes and landscape - elimination of silos and redundancies • Return On Investment (ROI) and Technology expenditure reduction Reduce Technology Regulatory Risks • Manage End of Support Vendor (EOVS) and End Of Life (EOL) technology risks • Work with Architecture Community and Technology Management to improve efficiency and compliance of Technology Strategy and Architecture processes Comply with Sector Architecture • Govern Technology standards • Maximize reuse of shared environments and / or design patterns and regional Data Centres facilities Communicate and Socialize Enterprise Architecture • Increase operational efficiency of Technology governance • Increase awareness of Technology Strategy and Architecture value within country Businesses and Technology groups • Improve Technology and Business application interdependency awareness · Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT & Finance Industry, and 4 years in designing large enterprise systems · Working experience of system and application components used in multi-tier architectures · Architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF · Knowledge of Design patterns, SOA Industry standards, UML, BPMN · Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of enterprise products used in financial industry · Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels, including teams outside the line of business · Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills · Strong inclination to keep abreast of new trends & identifying opportunities to bring in change for business benefit |
