Key Responsibilities of this Project Manager role are:
- Matrix management & leadership of project team (including analysts, architects, developers, testers) across multiple locations
- Management of a designated set of projects across the whole development lifecycle from initiation through to implementation according to JPMC methodologies and frameworks.
- Ensuring project delivery according to agreed schedules, budgets, specifications and levels of quality. Works as an effective member of the program team - reporting to Program Manager.
- Leading project planning sessions, develops project scope, objectives & plans working closely with project team to identify business & IT requirements.
- Working closely with the Architecture & Risk/Compliance groups to ensure all deliverables are compliant.
- Management of project risks, issues & dependencies to ensure project remains on track. Holds others accountable for quality deliverables.
- Organising and leading regular progress meetings to ensure projects remain on track and providing input and direction to the project team.
- Management of project communications including reporting progress to senior management, clients & other project stakeholders. Escalates where appropriate.
- Managing project finances including business cases, planning, budgeting, forecasting & actuals / variance reporting.
- Works closely with technology & business operations to ensure incident free implementations.
- Providing occasional weekend PM cover for implementation of Projects being managed

Department Description
Treasury Services International Technology - Shared Services provides project execution and service delivery for a variety of Financial Messaging (SWIFT), Compliance Screening (OFAC) and Enterprise Service Bus (iBUS) applications on a global basis for JPMC. These mission-critical applications utilise Oracle, Java, Unix, Linux, WebMethods and MQ technology with a mix of in-house developed code and vendor packages. Development Programs cover both Regulatory & Mandatory change and an extensive range of technology driven projects and business led initiatives. The department is looking for an individual who has a proven background in project management and experience of project delivery to exacting schedules/budgets & levels of quality.
About TS Technology
TS International Technology is a global technology organization that is responsible for the systems processing for international Treasury Services branches in EMEA, Asia & LATAM. The team responsible for Low and High Value payments, DDA, and local clearing links for these branches as well as a number of global utilities, SWIFT and OFAC. The team is based in Bournemouth, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tampa and San Paulo.
- Preferably educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent previous work experience
- Preferably a certified PMI or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Experience Required
- Significant previous experience of delivering large-scale technology projects preferably in a financial services environment.
- Previous experience of using an established PM / Development Methodology (PRINCE or PMI preferred).

Experience (nice to have)
- Exposure to a financial messaging / payments environment (e.g. SWIFT) or sanctions screening applications (e.g. OFAC checking).
- Management of projects in an Oracle/Unix/Linux/Java/MQ environment.

Additional information
The role will involve working occasional weekends when project implementations occur.
