Role Description

 

The Cash Equities Projects Team is responsible for the delivery of strategic, control and productivity projects.  We cover all Cash Equities business areas in Asia Pacific, including Single Stock, Program Trading and Electronic Client Solutions.  The team partners closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, Finance, Legal and Compliance as well as USA and EMEA project teams.

 

You will be responsible for project management and user acceptance test management.

 

Responsibilities


  • Perform the role of IB Operations Project Manager to deliver Cash Equities projects, partnering closely with Technology, business, Middle Office and other stakeholders

  • Define project governance, scope, objectives, roles and responsibilities

  • Create, maintain project plan and ensure delivery against plan, analyze inter-dependencies between project streams

  • Drive projects from initiation to completion, resolve issues, identify and proactively mitigate project risks, escalate issues on timely basis, communicate project status, conduct post implementation review

  • In the capacity of User Acceptance Test (UAT) Manager for IB Operations, deliver UAT test strategy and test plan

  • Partner with users in the development and execution of user acceptance test plan and test cases, publish UAT status and drive issue resolution, obtain UAT sign-off

  • Drive and manage data migration, data conversion, production implementation

  • Recommend and implement process improvement, promote standardization of best practices across projects

  • Proactively share knowledge and develop subject matter expertise


 

  • At least 8 years of IB experience, with at least 3 years in Equities

  • Strong track record in delivering complex projects

  • Expertise in project management and best practices

  • Expertise in front to back cash equities processes

  • Cash equities systems knowledge

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong leadership, influencing, partnership and presentation skills

  • Team leadership and mentoring skills
