As an Underwriting Operations (UO) Supervisor within the Quality Assurance Group, you will be responsible for ensuring all operational service levels are monitored and that processes are being followed in accordance with the overall business objectives of the organization. The UO Quality Assurance Supervisor responds immediately to any adverse performance, as a result of closed loan review analysis to derive credit quality or salability issues and solutions for process, policy and practice enhancements. Additional responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of all key performance metric and financial reports to derive performance improvement opportunities and to create viable solutions for ineffective processes. The UO Quality Assurance Supervisor will create, interpret and present compelling reporting and actionable information. In addition, you will communicate feedback to appropriate individuals within JP Morgan Chase. The UO Quality Assurance Supervisor will manage a staff of approximately 8-12 quality assurance analysts and will be responsible for achievement of minimum productivity and quality standards. The UO Quality Assurance Supervisor will manage monthly loan review volume of 400 to 600 files and should have a thorough knowledge of Prime Mortgage Closed Files from all channels for compliance with Credit Policy, Investor, and Program Documentation Requirements. Some travel will be required. · Minimum five (5) years mortgage experience · Minimum five (5) Years underwriting experience · Excellent Analytical & Decision making skills · Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience required · Strong Negotiation Skills · Previous Supervisory/Management Experience · Strong Interpersonal Skills · Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills · Teamwork and collaboration expertise · Highest level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency · Strong priority management and multi-tasking skills · Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to effectively to meet deadlines · Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner · Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, required; Visio, Internet, Project, Word and Lotus Notes database preferred · Knowledge and proficiency of all levels of mortgage underwriting including Agency, Government, Non-Agency, ALT A, Jumbo, and Securitized Secondary Market · Familiarity with PACS, LINCS and Zippy, Zippy Plus, DU and LP JPMorgan Chase is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/D/V JPMorgan Chase offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
