Job Description:

 

The global product company of a leading financial services firm, with assets of over USD 1.0 trillion and offices in 50 countries, provides clients worldwide with access to the firm's treasury management transaction and information services through Internet, PC Workstation and direct data transmission channels.  The organization has end to end responsibility for these channels including sales support and platform operations.  The product company is comprised of approximately 5,000 professionals globally with hub locations in New York, Chicago, Tampa, London, Mumbai, Singapore and Hong Kong.

 

 

The Client Access Product Manager Senior - has the following responsibilities:


  1. Define the Client Access (CA) Channel solutions product strategy and roadmap for - Internet-Banking and File Management Services - across the Asia Pacific (APAC) countries.

  2. Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.

  3. Identify and implement opportunities that support the Client Access and internal stakeholders to deliver on the overall APAC goals through value creation for the customers.


 

The Product Manager reports to the APAC CA Team Lead and is a member of the global CA Product Management Team. 

  

Specific responsibilities include: 


  1. Define the product vision and execute program/initiatives to deliver on this vision.

  2. Be an expert on the needs of our customers and the competition, including the ability to identify threats and opportunities.

  3. Identify and deliver product enhancements that meet customer needs/offers competitive advantage.

  4. Identify, engage and work with external third parties where necessary.

  5. Increase product penetration, retention and usage.

  6. Track product performance and identify challenges/opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the product set in meeting internal stakeholders/customer needs.

  7. Manage all product related activities and work closely with internal stakeholders - sales, marketing, legal, compliance, technology, operations, training, project office and customer service.

  8. Provide leadership for the product sets.


 

The individual should meet the following qualifications:


  1. Over 5-10 years working experience in Channels solutions for the wholesale financial services.

  2. Proven track record in bringing product depth and performance to best-in-class.

  3. A working level knowledge of regulatory requirements on eBanking across the APAC countries.

  4. Strong ability to influence cross-functional areas without formal authority.

  5. Technical background on systems and application development will be an advantage.

  6. Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills.

  7. Team player.


 

Required qualifications include:


  1. BA/BS in Management, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.  Masters is a plus.

  2. Financial services exposure through work experience.

  3. Intimate working level knowledge of eBanking solutions - Internet Banking; Financial Integration.

  4. Superior analytical skills including strong working knowledge of office tools (e.g. Excel).

  5. Excellent work ethic.
