Manager will be responsible for effective management, administration, and control of Monthly Business Review (MBR), and Default Executive Reporting staff for Default business functions at multiple sites and remote staff. Oversee the Default reporting production cycle with exceptional customer relations, and overall operational efficiency in producing executive decks. Effectively manage 5-10 full time employees (Reporting Analysts). Employees may reside in different sites within the Home Loans division. Manager will be highly detail oriented and able to produce executive decks with 100% accuracy. Manager must build and maintain open line of communication with all Default business unit managers and accommodate business data cycles and ensure high level of efficiency during the MBR production cycle. Responsibilities will also include: Managing performance of Reporting Analysts and ensure effective support for all Default line of business managers Developing executive reporting decks and highly sophisticated PowerPoint presentations and related design elements Evaluating and resolving high priority and complex reporting production problems through communication with LOB managers and data providers. Developing and maintaining Monthly Business Review decks, Executive Business Review decks, and Ad Hoc Reporting decks. Train Reporting Analyst on efficient deck production processes and work with data provider to improve automation efforts Setting standards for Reporting Analysts Key Performance metrics and service levels (KPIs). Ensure adherence to standards by monitoring and evaluating team's performance against goals. Managing status reports, productivity reports, and other source documents to ensure optimal performance. Conducting staff meetings to ensure communication of corporate policies and goals. Mentor and develop staff through employee recognition using established corporate programs. All managers are accountable for compliance with all laws and regulations when performing their job duties. Each manager is expected to be familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements affective his or her span of control. Each manager is responsible for implementing controls in his or her span of control to ensure that Chase complies with regulatory requirements. Managers must participate in required training and ensure that their employees attend required training on pertinent compliance laws and regulations. Managers are expected to apply Chase's performance management procedures with employees who fail to comply with the compliance requirements of their jobs.
