Job Description:

This role will provide support across Collections and Loss Mitigation Bank Owned organization with a primary focus on documenting, reviewing, and analyzing business processes. The Business Analyst will interact with Default business partners, HAMP Treasury, CRM, SQA, Corporate Audit, OCC, etc. Work with the Default departments determining root causes of process break downs, developing controls to mitigate losses and responding to audit findings. Business Analyst will stay abreast of regulatory, compliance, policy changes and employee readiness initiatives. The Business Analyst formulates requirements in alignment to overall business strategies. Following a project management methodology, will create process flows for current and future state, define projects and all documentation. Initiate involvement from development through implementation for all projects assigned. Will identify process improvements, effects on change implementation and financial impact on the business. Must have the ability to multi-task on complicated assignments with an efficient work style, attention to detail and strong sense of urgency. Effectively collaborate with management and staff in the development and implementation of all projects and initiatives. 

  • 5 years in roles that encompasses project management methodologies and business analysis work.

  • Experience in Loss Mitigation Underwriting and/or Default Loss Mitigation work outs a plus.

  • Excellent analytical skills with close attention to detail.

  • Excellent people skills and drive to get things done.

  • Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external customers.

  • LPS/MSP/VLS experience is highly desired.

  • Experience in training, development, facilitation, and evaluation in a loan servicing environment.

  • Customer service, team and goal-oriented, enhanced by a high sense of urgency.

  • Ability to present a professional image and demeanor to internal and external customers.

  • Proven implementation success of strategic project initiatives.

  • Business Mapping software experiences a plus.

  • Systems integration experience a plus.
