Our Hong Kong office is currently looking for creative and dynamic professionals for its growing Technology department. With more than 250 employees, the Technology department is connected to the Technology & Operations Hub based in Geneva which services JPMorgan's international private banking business (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia). The Technology department is responsible for application delivery, Business and Operations support & projects.

 


The Project Manager is expected to initiate, manage, establish and leads specific Private Bank projects in Asia. Typically the projects will range from major strategic projects including new business and systems, regulatory, to internal process efficiency projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of operational readiness for project implementation including analysis, development, testing support, deployment and training. Below is a summary of the job description:

 

Strong Partnership:


  • Identify and agree with various stakeholders/sponsors, appropriate solutions to deliver the benefits as defined.

  • Establishes strong working relationships with team members; all functions within IPB Technology; and across the business as appropriate.


Role Specific Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate and run project definition workshops as required.

  • Lead team of business analysts to documents business requirements, specify functionalities and communicates these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of these solutions.

  • Work closely with internal and external technical specialists to ensure that the business requirements are built into the technical solution. Facilitate walkthroughs of business solution

  • Communicate effectively on technical and non-technical issues with all internal and external interfaces.

  • Formally review the progress of allocated projects to ensure that actions taken align with the project plan, taking remedial action where required.


Project Management:


  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project deliverables through each stage of the project life cycle Concept, Initiation, Requirements, Design, Build, Test Implementation and Project Closure) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Leading/participating in meetings at the management, operational, and project level related to project status, risks, issues, action items, or change controls.


 


  • Degree qualified with equivalent work experience of  more than 5 years

  • Ability to bridge communication with business, operations, and technology
