2. Manage application service quality and production readiness through timely issue escalation and resolution. 3. Oversee requirements gathering and development for all data warehouse projects to ensure quality delivery of projects within agreed specifications, budget and timelines. 4. Manage communications to business and technology stakeholders and senior management for data warehouse related communications. 5. Ensure application development is aligned against global and regional business and technology strategies and needs. 6. Plan and manage budget allocated to production support and development projects. 7. Plan and manage application capacity and performance. 8. Manage and enforce change management process and release management. 9. Manage and enforce application access control, information security, risk management and documentation in compliance with Citi policies and procedures. General Qualifications 1. Minimum of 12 years in data warehouse environment and 4 years of having led a data warehouse team. 2. Strong people manager with proven ability to lead, motivate & grow a young team. 3. Strong analytical skills, with ability to react quickly to problem solve in a resourceful and creative manner. 4. Effective communications, presentation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact with functional technology and business partners and at different management levels. 5. Demonstrates thought leadership, creativity and initiative. 6. Self driven and motivated with a desire for learning and excellence. 7. Ability to work at flexible hours, and to lead or interact with diverse teams across different time zones. 8. Knowledge of financial products and services, preferably in the corporate transactional banking domain. Technical Qualifications 1. Minimum of Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. At least 6 years of application development. A Master's Degress in the equivalent field is preferred. 2. Strong knowledge in Data Warehouse concepts, methodologies and techniques. 3. Proven experience in implementing and managing operational data stores and data warehouses. 4. Strong knowledge of data modeling, profiling and ETL methodologies and experience in implementing related techniques and tools. Preferable in IBM BDW model and use of Ab Initio data profiling and ETL tools. 5. Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms, BI data marts design & implementation. 6. Experience in Unix OS, Oracle databases and use of data modeling, profiling and ETL tools. 7. Knowledge of Business Objects, Crystal Reports and other enterprise reporting tools. 8. Proficient in Unix scripting, SQL and Microsoft Office suite applications. |
