Job Description:

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Perform all flood related functions on loans being modified for the Escrow Department of GMAC Mortgage in ensuring compliancy with all regulatory agencies, state and federal acts and Investor guidelines. This position is responsible for all processes related to flood compliance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Monitor reports and order flood determinations for loans entering modification status
2.Ensure receipt of flood determinations and systems updated accordingly
3.Ensure appropriate flood insurance coverage on all loans in SFHA
4.Reconciliation of billing notices from flood vendors
5.Other duties as assigned

POSITION INTERACTIONS:
This position reports to Escrow Insurance Management and interacts externally with Key Partners and various outside sources and internally with other departments and intradepartmental staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Education or equivalent
One year previous escrow experience, preferred
Previous flood certification experience, helpful
PC experience (MS Office, Monarch, Business Objects, etc)
Proficient in MS Excel
Business Objects experience, preferred
Working knowledge of mortgage documents
Excellent analytical and decision making skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills
Goal and Team oriented
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and as a team
Overtime may be required

CONDITIONS OF WORK:
Overtime and travel as needed.
