Client needs senior Ops Risk Manager with 5-7 years experience to assess business unit exposures, identify risks, evaluate their potential impact and review the strengths and weaknesses existing controls. Major objectives are to reduce income volatility and increase the level of customer satisfaction. Individual will take steps to maximize preparedness for business continuity and change management. Work with other risk functions to develop and implement risk mitigation controls and monitor control compliance and the risk environment to ensure acceptable levels of exposure.
Staff works under limited direction and independently develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Is the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
Basic Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Business Administration or related field -Experience working with IT risk frameworks, such as COBIT, and strategies to manage operational risk. -Experience with evaluating and implementing Sarbanes Oxley in an IT environment. -Experience with infrastructure, information security or computer operations risk management. -Good communication skills both oral and written
Preferred Skills
-Prior Big 4 Experience -Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) -Experience managing and developing a team of risk management professionals skilled in infrastructure technologies and IT risk. |
