Job Description:

  • 1st March start date
  • Rotating shifts Monday to Friday 7am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm

We are currently looking to recruit sales savvy and customer focussed people into our Inbound Consumer Sales Business.  Within this role you will be taking calls from personal and business customers who have enquiries regarding personal loans, credit cards, general insurance and deposit products, and providing unrivalled customer service to these customers to ensure a strong relationship with NAB. 

In this sales role, you will have a focus on acquiring new business to the bank (from both new and existing customers) by ensuring that these customers receive the highest level of professional, quality service, both when providing information and closing sales.  At NAB we pride ourselves on the quality conversation we have with our customers to really understand their current and future banking needs.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling loans, credit cards, general insurance policies and personal & business deposit products to personal and self employed applicants and also business deposit products to business customers
  • Identifying cross sell opportunities when assessing customers financial needs, close sales and refer more complex products to appropriate specialists.
  • Having quality conversations with your customers to maintain strong relationships
  • Adhering to general call centre operational metrics
  • Demonstrating professional and ethical behaviour in all your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position

To be successful in this role we require you:

  • Have strong customer service skills
  • A desire to be in a sales focussed environment - experience not mandatory
  • A drive to achieve targets
  • Highly developed problem solving skills, negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a time critical environment
