An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join our Credit Risk team based at 500 Bourke Street. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the supporting the testing, analysis, validation and monitoring of credit risk models / estimates such that management can have confidence in risks of the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain and improve methodologies to measure performance
  • Ensure that the methodology for the calculation of risk measures and model validation remains robust.
  • Maintain fluency with industry standards and methodologies relating to rating models.
  • Providing analysis and management of detailed credit risk data
  • Maintain overview of external environment relating to credit risk and other regulatory issues.

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have degree specialising in Maths/statistics as well as a proven track record in a quantitative environment. Strong computer literacy is essential, highly experienced in SAS and SQL, plus high proficiency in Excel/Access/VB skills would be very well regarded. Your strong communication skill and ability to engage and influence at senior levels will be key selection criteria.

This is a mid to senior level manager position which expects the incumbent to be at an experienced level and able to complete all related business requirements.
