Job Description:

To be successful in the role of PDM Life risk you will build, maintain and grow the Life Risk advice capabilities, skill sets and sales across the Securitor/Magnitude advice networks (clients), so that the Dealer Group businesses meet their professional, risk management and financial obligations to clients, advisers, regulators and shareholders.
As a Life Risk Insurance specialist you will:
  • Promote and facilitate life risk advice and capability within the Dealer Group advice networks
  • Actively contribute and develop, deliver and execute Practice life risk business development strategies
  • Work with State Management teams, actively identify and recruit Practices according to the Dealer Groups strategy
  • Contribute to the development of Life Risk sales and other tools for Practices as part of developing life risk advice processes.
  • Proactively develop professional relationships with Dealer Groups planners with the aim of identifying and realising life risk opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Promote Life Risk across the Dealer Groups networks, increasing awareness by rolling out concepts, campaigns and tools
  • Work closely with key life risk strategic partners to implement marketing events, sponsored events and associated communications relevant to Dealer Groups
  • Providehigh profile representation of Dealer Groups at key functions and associated industry events and forums
Position Requirements:
  • Proven Life Risk sales and implementation skills
  • Proven interpersonal and relationshipskills, andthe ability to influence and manage relationships to drive results
  • Strong knowledge of the life insurances market and the role of life insurance solutions in the financial planning process
  • Extensive experience in the financial planning industry, ideally distribution networks, sales, marketing and/or recruitment experience including dealing with self-employed planners
  • Relevant industry qualifications
  • Recognition as a leading Life Risk industry participant
  • Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements
  • Strong sales and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wealth Management Industry and Life Risk market, concepts and products.
