We are seeking a Team Leader with a strong complaints/financial planning background or a litigation lawyer with experience in professional indemnity matters. A multi-talented professional, you'll have an understanding of the financial services industry, financial advice process and regulatory environment. Your inspirational, passionate and driven demeanour along with your superior leadership skills and proactive approach will energise our high performing team to go above and beyond our clients' and customers' expectations.

We are seeking a Team Leader with a strong technical financial planning background or a litigation lawyer with 5-7 years experience in professional indemnity matters who has demonstrable experience liaising with Senior Management.

Skills and expertise required:

  • Team leader experience
  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex strategic advice complaints
  • Well developed problem solving and decision making skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with investors, PI Insurer, Legal, advisers and Licensee's in difficult situations
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong Investigation and decision making skills
  • Presentation Skills
  • Mediation skills
  • A working knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, financial advice process and regulatory environment.
  • CFP qualified or equivalent (preferred)

A clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, strategic financial planning advice knowledge, you will be a vital part of the business to ensure the timely, effective and professional resolution of advice related complaints.
