Who we are looking for

PwC transacts approximately 2,000 hires per year across all Lines of Service (Advisory, Assurance, Internal Firm Services (IFS) and Tax), from support staff and newly qualifieds, through to Partner.

We are passionately focussed on delivering high calibre talent to our business, whilst ensuring all channels are utilised to deliver this at the best possible cost.

Due to an internal move within the Experienced Hire Senior Management team, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to lead our recruitment efforts within Advisory.This individual will have a proven track record of managing the delivery of a recruitment service either within aConsulting or Financial Advisoryenvironment.You will currently be working in either an in-house recruitment team or an RPO role.

This role requires an adept influencer who is comfortable gaining consensus from senior stakeholders on issues that may differ from their priorities.

Thisis a full time position based in London.

About the role


Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of experienced hire recruiters to coordinate, manage and deliver talent to the firm.
  • Ensure an agile workforce is in place, flexing resources in relation to the needs of the firm.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Partners and relevant heads of functions.
  • Work with the Experienced Hire Senior Management team, and the wider HC leadership, to identify process simplification and optimisation opportunities.
  • Work with Experienced Hire Senior Management team and the Head of Resourcing to help shape and deliver the internal mobility agenda.
  • Act as a point of escalation and resolution for issues raised by the experienced hire team and business contacts.
  • Use internal HC networks in order to keep up to date with all HC best practice, ie, internal mobility, assessment services, employment law etc.
  • Ensure all recruitment channels are utilised to deliver the best talent at the right cost to the firm.
  • Ensuring recruitment infrastructure is fit for purpose at all times.
  • Utilisation of management information to inform and shape key recruitment agendas.
  • Use wider recruitment networks to ensure the appropriate solution is delivered to our clients, ie, Recruitment Media, Internal Search.

Requirements

  • Managing high volumes of professional recruitment, focussing on candidate and client experience.
  • Awareness and understanding of key risks in relation to the end to end recruitment process, including the implication of key employment legislation and pre-employment vetting, application handling and regulatory issues.
  • Understanding a client’s business plans and people agenda, in order to help to support and deliver.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to pre-empt client needs and take innovative solutions to them.
  • Experience in managing teams and budgets.
  • Experience of operating within a wider HC function.
  • Ability to balance own, team and client priorities to ensure objectives are delivered.
  • Understanding of recruitment and selection tools and techniques, including psychometric testing.
